On 13th of January 2020 in the United Arab Emirates Dubai at the InterContinental Festival City Arena

His Excellency Mr. Walid Abdul Malik Mohammed, Department Director of Dubai Economic Department, accompanied by Eng. Tarik Fakkas, CEO of Paper One Show, inaugurated the sixth edition of Paper One Show. The inauguration was followed by a tour around the exhibition hall that stretched to a 4000 Square meters displacement and a visit to the national and international participating companies.

The stands’ unique designs gave the hall a distinctive and special character.

More than 95 of the most important paper companies from 23 countries around the world exhibited at Paper One Show. This year included Arab, Southeast Asian, Indian, European and American companies representing various sectors of the paper industry, such as jumbo roll mills for hygienic paper, brown packaging paper and paper products. Also sanitary paper, wipes, towels, paper cups, etc., baby nappies, and the like, as well as printing and writing paper mills, copy paper, cardboard factories, the needs of printers and corrugated cardboard machines and their printing, as well as various raw materials such as cellulose, waste paper, and  Chemical and all kinds of machines and production lines for finished products and Paper Converting. In addition to traders and consultants in the paper industry services.

Later that day, Mr. Hasan Onal, the commercial attaché from the Turkish Embassy in the UAE, attended the exhibition and visited the participating Turkish companies, which they were more than eight companies. Mr. Onal got acquainted with their activities, got briefed about their products, urged them to work to strengthen and increase exports and search for economic opportunities. In addition, Mr. Unal demonstrated readiness to help with what might facilitate growth in their businesses.

More than 2,200 professionals in the paper manufacturing and trade visited Paper One Show. They represented about 1,500 specialized companies from all over the world. They learned about the latest innovation and technologies in the paper industry and contracted deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The participants were satisfied by the traffic of visitors even on the first and last day of the exhibition, which generally have less traffic in exhibitions. However, Paper One Show was busy throughout the entire three days of the exhibition.

The persistent work of Paper One Show’s team in preparation for the exhibition and the distinguished relations of Al Furat Paper Trading and exhibitions organizing company with the paper industry locally and globally had a great impact on the success of Paper One Show in Dubai. The official Gala dinner which were held in a restaurant at the InterContinental Festival City Hotel, in which Paper One Show and the official sponsors of the gala dinner, Crown Paper Mill and Ittihad Paper Mill, hosted more than 290 guests from the participants and some important visitors.
Delicious cuisine, dancing, music and entertaining spectacles have created an enjoyable and unforgettable atmosphere.

A mill tour visit to the manufacturers of Crown Paper Mill and Ittihad Paper Mill in Mussafah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi on the third day of the exhibition sponsored by Crown and Ittihad Paper Mill as well as the Swedish company Valmet, which supplied the manufacturers with their state of art production lines. The trip was a great success from Paper One Show’s team where more than 80 businessmen visited both mills and showed great admiration for Crown Paper’s technically unique production lines, which produce about 220 tons of Tissue per day of the finest quality of tissue. In addition, at Ittihad Paper Mill, which is one of its kind in the Middle East in the production of jumbo rolls of wood free paper with a capacity of 900 tons per day, and the accompanying factory that converts a large amount of them into photocopy paper for copy machines such as A4 and other sizes with different substances.

The Paper One Show virtual exhibition project, where Al Furat Exhibitions Company revealed its new and one of its kind project in the paper world and exhibitions.
