The Travel Club is the only official travel agent of Paper One Show.

There are a number of rogue travel agencies who are targeting customers in the run up to trade fairs, offering help with accommodation.

A number have already tried to reach out to Paper One Show exhibitors. They falsely claim to represent Paper One Show and that we have authorized them to talk to you. This is not true.

We believe they are dishonest and strongly recommend you not book any accommodation with them.

We have been informed that Exhibition Travel Bureau and others have contacted a few exhibitors via email or by phone, offering discounted fees for accommodation.
We are doing all we can to make these emails stop and apologise to all our exhibitors for the inconvenience caused.

Please do not book any accommodation with these companies as they have no business relationship with Paper One Show

Please check page at the General Directorate of General Security’s page for latest updates.

Lebanese visas are documents issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its subsequent diplomatic missions abroad with the stated goal of regulating and facilitating migratory flows.

Visitors to the Republic of Lebanon must obtain a visa from one of the Diplomatic missions of the Republic of Lebanon unless they come from one of the 7 visa-exempt countries and territories or one of the 79 other countries and territories whose citizens are eligible for a visa on arrival.

Visas are not required for Arab citizens providing they can meet the following requirements: (Except citizens from Israel and Palastine – see below for more details)

  • Hotel reservation for the duration of their stay.
  • Have 2.000 USD cash or check on arrival
  • A valid return flight

Warning: If you hold a stamp from Israel you will be denied entry to Lebanon, no matter how friendly the officers appear to be.

Citizens of member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Jordan may travel to Republic of Lebanon without visa limits for a maximum stay of 6 months per year and 3 months per 6 months respectively, citizens of the 79 other countries and territories are granted a visa on arrival at Beirut International Airport or any other port of entry if there is no Israeli stamps, visas, or seals on their passport and are holding a telephone number, address in the Republic of Lebanon, and a non-refundable return or circle trip ticket for a maximum stay of one month, extendable for 2 additional months. Citizens of Brazil and Turkey are instead granted a multiple entry visa valid for a maximum stay of 1 month and 3 months respectively. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months beyond the period of intended stay and with two blank pages. An identity document is accepted in lieu of a passport for Jordanian citizens.

The Republic of Lebanon has a complicated visa policy, requiring visas from citizens of the countries and territories like – Brunei, Seychelles, Taiwan, Uruguay, and Vatican City. On the other hand, the Republic of Lebanon grants visa on arrival to citizens of countries and territories like – Bhutan, China, Iran, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Visitors who have recently been to GuineaLiberia and Sierra Leone are refused entry due to Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa.

Palestinian and Israeli citizens or any other person who holds any passport bearing stamps, visas, or seals issued by Israel are strictly prohibited from entry to the Republic of Lebanon and may be subject to arrest or detention for further inspection.

Taxi

If you are flying into Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, you will have no trouble getting a taxi at the curb. There are dozens of taxi drivers just waiting for passengers to pick up. To go somewhere in the city of Beirut from the airport, it will probably cost you about $20-$30 (be aware of a scam), depending on how far you go and the amount of people you are traveling with . If you need to go somewhere else in Lebanon that is further away from the city, it will cost you a bit more money. (https://www.taxifarefinder.com)

If you need a taxi anywhere else in the city, it is not too hard to find one during the day. At night it can be a little bit harder, especially if it is very late.

A very efficient alternative is to book a taxi online with one of the reputable taxi firms that has an online booking service. (like  allotaxi.com.lb )

You can also use UBER for airport transfer.
